The HDS separated combustion Hot Dawg draws its combustion air from outside to ensure that the unit will always have plenty of fresh, clean air to breathe. This fresh-air supply reduces common concerns about dusty, dirty or humid applications. In addition, by drawing the combustion air from the outside, the overall heating efficiency is increased. The Hot Dawg series is certified for residential or commercial use. Its low profile design allows for tight installations, requiring only 1 inch of ceiling clearance. The HDS30 through HDS75 includes angle iron support rails which can fasten directly to your ceiling. Optional threaded rod suspension kits can also be used with the rails to lower the unit closer to the floor. Mounting rails and threaded rod suspension kits are both optional accessories on the largest HDS100 & HDS125 units. Hot Dawg gas-fired unit heaters are a generation of products that are inexpensive to install, easy to use, and offer excellent in-service economy.
